Our role
Simplify Market is an online marketplace that helps independent buyers, sellers and suppliers discover machine parts, equipment and related stock. Unless we clearly say otherwise, sellers are independent parties and are responsible for their own listings and fulfilment.
Using the marketplace means you agree to provide accurate information, use the service lawfully, and treat other users fairly.
Sellers and listings
Sellers must have the right to sell the item, describe it accurately, use genuine photographs where possible, disclose known faults or missing parts, and honour accepted orders. Illegal, unsafe, counterfeit, stolen or prohibited goods may not be listed.
Simplify Market may remove listings or suspend accounts where reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce these terms or comply with the law.
Buyers, offers and auctions
Buyers should check the listing details, compatibility, condition and seller information before placing an order, making an offer or bidding. A bid is a serious offer to buy at that amount. The highest valid bidder at the end of an auction receives the first opportunity to complete payment.
For parts requests, suppliers and sellers should confirm fitment, condition, price and availability directly before any transaction is made.
Delivery, collection and returns
Simplify Market does not hold stock or arrange delivery. The buyer and seller agree collection or delivery, cost and timing directly with each other. Buyers should inspect items promptly and report an item that is damaged, incorrect or materially different from its listing.
Return and refund arrangements should be agreed between the buyer and seller, subject to any non-excludable rights under applicable South African consumer law.
Payments and disputes
Where checkout is available, payment is handled by the payment provider shown during checkout. Simplify Market may assist with marketplace issues but does not guarantee the quality, legality, availability or suitability of items sold by independent sellers.
